Prolific Shoplifter arrested and charged.

Following proactive work by SNT officers, a prolific shoplifter has been arrested and charged with 17 counts of shoplifting offences committed across Chislehurst and Mottingham.

We are aware of the impact that shoplifting has on local businesses, staff and the community and we will continue to work closely with retailers to identify offenders and take positive action. 

We have also identified that a lot of shoplifting across our ward is under reported, We urge all businesses to report any offences. This can be done online, or via 101 and 999 for emergencies.
